Plot

Amidst the backdrop of Han Imperial China, young Ping, an orphaned girl enslaved by the empire, embarks on a thrilling journey with Long Danzi, an ancient dragon. With dragons outlawed and nearly extinct, Ping stumbles upon one of the last dragon eggs. Pursued by palace guards, she must flee to return the egg to the ocean, aiming to protect the remaining dragons from extinction. Along the way, Ping uncovers her true identity as a Dragonkeeper, destined to revive the bond between humans and dragons in a world that has long forgotten them.
