Plot
In "Viridiana," the titular character is on the brink of becoming a nun when she is reluctantly summoned to visit her elderly uncle, Don Jaime, who provides financial support. Having met only once before, Jaime is struck by how much Viridiana resembles his deceased wife. However, Viridiana harbors a deep-seated resentment towards him. As her uncle's intentions turn sinister, aiming to seduce her, Viridiana’s aspirations to join the convent begin to unravel, leading her to confront the disturbing reality of her uncle’s obsession and her own moral dilemmas.
