Plot
In a cramped three-room apartment in a dull suburb, a large family struggles to coexist. Their chaotic lives are thrown into further disarray when the prodigal son returns from prison. As essential household items mysteriously disappear—first the TV, then the sofa, and finally the refrigerator—tensions escalate. Amidst this turmoil, the mother faces emotional breakdowns, while the father remains largely absent. Julie, the despondent daughter and social worker, grapples with her feelings, while her sister anxiously awaits her fiancé, who is about to be drafted, all adding to the family's mounting pressures.
