Plot

Corporate market researcher Joy Holbrook is on the cusp of a promotion when her plans are derailed by news of her Aunt Ruby's ankle injury and impending surgery. She returns to Crystal Falls, NC, to support her aunt and unexpectedly reunites with her high school crush, Ben Andrews, at the hospital. Initially prioritizing her aunt’s recovery and managing the local Cookie Crawl competition, Joy gradually reconnects with Ben and rediscovers the warmth of home during the holiday season. Together, they collaborate to make the Cookie Crawl a memorable event, reigniting old feelings along the way.
