Plot

Amidst a sweltering summer, cicadas fill the air with their deafening chorus, pushing everyone to their limits—except for the enigmatic figure known as the Cicada Man. Constantly seen carrying boxes of live cicadas, his peculiar behavior raises questions. As the oppressive heat takes a toll on her mental state, the protagonist finds reality blending with hallucination. Haunted by her darkest fears, she becomes convinced the Cicada Man has infested her with his insects. Desperate to rid herself of them, she spirals into paranoia and self-harm, fighting to survive the season's oppressive grip.
