Plot

In "Through a Glass Darkly," Karin seeks solace and healing after her time in a mental institution by retreating to her family's secluded island cottage for the summer. While her husband, Martin, tries to support her, he struggles with her emotional distance. Her younger brother, Minus, grapples with his own feelings of confusion regarding Karin's fragility and his emerging sexuality. Their father, David, remains emotionally distant and aloof, unable to connect. As Karin confronts haunting visions, she spirals deeper into her mental turmoil, challenging the bonds of family and sanity.
