Plot

Jefferson Steel, a former Hollywood action hero, is eager to rejuvenate his dwindling career. His dubious agent convinces him he’s secured a prestigious role in a Royal Shakespeare Company rendition of King Lear at Stratford upon Avon, leading Steel to believe he’s hit the jackpot. To his dismay, he soon realizes he’s been duped into performing with a community theater troupe for a charity event instead. Faced with the reality of his situation, Steel must navigate the challenges of amateur actors and unexpected hurdles as he attempts to reclaim his glory.
