Plot

Following an accident, the cantankerous sixty-year-old Pierre finds himself confined to a hospital bed, longing for peace and isolation. However, his strong-willed nature is challenged as doctors, nurses, and family, including his brother Hervé, persistently invade his space. Each visit, whether humorous or heartfelt, prompts Pierre to reevaluate his relationships and surroundings. Gradually, the hospital becomes a place of unexpected reflection and growth for him. Ultimately, this unanticipated stay transforms into a second chance for Pierre to connect with those around him and rediscover what truly matters.
