Plot

Maddy and Cole's close friendship takes a hit as Maddy rises to the top of the social ladder in high school. Despite her newfound popularity, she feels increasingly isolated and disheartened. Reaching out to Cole once more, they hatch a plan to take down the ultimate symbol of high school hierarchy: the prom. Together, they aim to disrupt the very contest that has come to define their peers, ultimately challenging the superficial values of teenage society and rediscovering the true meaning of friendship.
