Plot
Set in 1595, a fragile peace emerges after fierce conflicts between Protestant Sweden and Orthodox Russia. The story centers on two Finnish brothers grappling with their spiritual scars: one is a brutal war hero, desensitized to violence, while the other is a compassionate scientist, out of place in a harsh world. Amidst the murky landscape, they join a group of ruthless Russians tasked with establishing the new border, confronting their own demons and the moral complexities of survival in a post-war era.
