Plot

Set in Edo-era Japan, a struggling ukiyo-e artist feels overshadowed by his master’s talent. Seeking solace, he forms a connection with a prostitute, leading to a complicated love triangle. As the narrative unfolds, a mystery arises around two portraits and the enigmatic vanishing of the renowned artist Sharaku.
