Plot

In 2012, Rio de Janeiro, 30-year-old Karine, who is eight months pregnant, faces a devastating tragedy when her husband is murdered without reason. In the chaos, she and her brother are nearly killed but are rescued by Pastor Naldo, an evangelical leader from the Church of Eden. Now, Karine grapples with a deep internal struggle, torn between seeking salvation through the church and the hope embodied in the birth of her child.
