Plot
A grumpy sand fairy known as Psammead, or "It," is discovered by five siblings in a gravel pit. Grateful for their chance encounter, It offers them the opportunity to make one wish each day, with the catch that the magic only lasts until sundown. As the children embark on whimsical adventures fueled by their wishes, they quickly learn that their desires can lead to unexpected and humorous consequences, testing their creativity and teamwork along the way.
