Plot

Charlie, accompanied by his loyal bulldog, stumbles upon a "good luck" horseshoe while passing a boxing training camp seeking a partner who can withstand punishment. After witnessing several contenders fail, he slips the horseshoe into his glove and secures an unexpected victory. The trainer sees potential and prepares Charlie for a championship bout. As a gambler pressures him to throw the match, Charlie also finds romance with the trainer's daughter, complicating his journey to glory both in the ring and in love.
