Plot

Mrs. Doray seeks guidance from a Juvenile Court Judge on handling troubled youth, particularly focusing on the notorious 13-year-old Arthur. Known as "the worst kid in town," Arthur engages in reckless antics, like moving cars from fire hydrants. After receiving another chance from the judge, he and his friend Nutty face escalating challenges, including breaking into Mr. Doray's drugstore for medication for Nutty's ailing grandmother. Mr. Doray, unsympathetic and quick to condemn, opposes his wife’s desire to adopt Arthur. Ultimately, Mrs. Doray must decide between her marriage and her commitment to helping the troubled boy.
