Plot
In the year 1942, Friedrich Weimer's boxing talent secures him a spot at a National Political Academy (NaPolA), prestigious schools designed to cultivate Nazi leaders. Despite his father's disapproval, Friedrich decides to join. Throughout his tumultuous year in the seventh column, he faces harsh hazing, brutality, and the grim realities of the Nazi ideology. A significant aspect of his experience is his friendship with Albrecht, the disciplined son of the local governor, which plays a crucial role in shaping his education and worldview during this dark period.
