Barking Dogs Don't Fite (1949)

Plot

Olive enlists Popeye to take her adorable poodle, Reggie, for a walk, much to his chagrin. Trouble brews when Bluto shows up with his fierce bulldog, Killer, who quickly targets Reggie. The clever poodle manages to dodge Killer for some time, but eventually gets trapped. When Popeye rushes in to save him, Bluto knocks him out. Just as Bluto prepares to flatten them both with a steamroller, Popeye and Reggie power up with spinach, turning the tide and facing Bluto head-on.
