Plot

Lord Peter Wimsey and crime novelist Harriet Vane embark on their new life together, vowing to leave crime behind. As a wedding gift, Peter buys Harriet’s childhood home, but their excitement quickly turns to dread when the previous owner mysteriously disappears. While settling in, the couple uncovers a shocking secret hidden in the cellar: the owner’s lifeless body.
