Plot

Percy and Veronica are enjoying a summer of luxury while house-sitting in the Hollywood Hills, but their idyllic escape quickly turns sour with the arrival of an unwelcome guest, Freedgood, a former college classmate. Once a carefree student, Freedgood's life has spiraled into crime, marked by prison time and drug dealings. As his dark past catches up with him, an LAPD detective becomes entangled in the chaos. Faced with the looming pressures of their New York lives, Percy and Veronica find themselves yearning for the mundane struggles that seem far more appealing than the chaos unfolding in their temporary paradise.
