Plot

At 17, Vivek finds himself under pressure to join coaching classes for India's highly competitive IIT entrance exams, a rite of passage for many middle-class families. His father, viewing an IIT degree as a badge of honor, sends him to a prestigious residential prep school in Kota, known as the hub for IIT coaching. While Vivek navigates the trials of adolescence over the next two years, it’s his parents who undergo a profound transformation, grappling with their aspirations and expectations for their son’s future.
