Plot

Amidst the drab skies of northern China, an enigmatic newcomer brings with him a peculiar brand of soap, whose alluring scent comes with a hefty price. Meanwhile, two disinterested police officers grapple with a case that appears straightforward but quickly spirals into confusion. Their search for answers is complicated by a monk whose intentions are far from holy.
