Plot

Hi, My Name is Dicky chronicles the life of hockey player Richard Clune and his battle with substance use disorder amid his NHL career. Starting in Toronto, the film explores his idyllic Canadian upbringing and his formative years with the Sarnia Sting in the Ontario Hockey League, where addiction took hold. After making his NHL debut with the Los Angeles Kings, Clune chooses sobriety, embarking on a transformative journey back to Canada for rehab. Now over a decade sober, he shares his inspiring story while mentoring young players as he plays for the Toronto Maple Leafs.
