Plot
Set in 1970s Denmark, teenager Christoffer grapples with his parents, Nisse and Maria's, choice to join a commune and embrace an alternative lifestyle. Struggling to fit in, Christoffer faces relentless teasing at school for his unusual living situation. To appease the commune's elders, he reluctantly joins a Maoist group, hoping to understand society better. His involvement takes a turn when his new girlfriend finds his radical pursuits appealing. Meanwhile, the police begin to view him as a suspect in a series of telephone booth bombings throughout Copenhagen, complicating Christoffer's journey of self-discovery.
