Plot

A director receives a call from his elderly mother, who is anxious about their family's uncertain future. Her husband struggles with health issues and a gambling addiction, while her son, despite being broke, believes firmly in his gift as a medium. Reflecting on the motivations that led him to leave two decades ago, Elvis A-Liang Lu crafts a poignant and illuminating family portrait that captures both the struggles and resilience of those closest to him.
