Wagon Wheels (1934)
Plot
A wagon train embarks on a journey westward from Independence, Missouri, guided by the confident cowboy Clint Belmet. Among the travelers are spirited widow Nancy Wellington and her young son, Sonny, along with the mature Abby Masters, who finds romance with scout Jim Burch. Their trek becomes perilous as they encounter hostile Indians commanded by Kenneth Murdock, a trapper intent on protecting his hold over Oregon's lucrative fur trade. Wagon Wheels, a 1934 remake of Fighting Caravans, cleverly incorporates stock footage from its predecessor to enhance the adventure.
