A Field in England (2013)

Plot

Amidst the turmoil of 17th-century England's Civil War, a band of deserters seeks refuge in a wild, overgrown field. Their escape is short-lived as they are captured by a mysterious alchemist intent on enlisting their help to uncover a hidden treasure he suspects lies beneath the soil. After discovering a circle of mushrooms that serves as their first meal, tensions rise among the group, leading to bickering, violence, and growing paranoia. As the true nature of the treasure becomes apparent, they find themselves ensnared by the dark forces lurking within the field.
