Plot

Cartwright, an anxious man, seeks Perry's help to arrest his neighbor for a persistently howling dog, claiming it signals impending death nearby. He also requests a will to be drafted, leaving his estate to the neighbor's resident. However, the situation takes a dark turn when Cartwright vanishes overnight, along with the woman next door. With a will and a retainer in hand, Perry must unravel the mystery surrounding his missing client and determine if he's been tasked with representing a client or merely a potential beneficiary in a sinister plot.
