Plot
A small Texas town, Promise, has suffered for a decade under the weight of drought and economic despair. Life seems bleak until a couple discovers a mysterious boy wandering along a desolate road, clutching only a mat. Unbeknownst to them, he arrives with a purpose: to rejuvenate the weary community. While townsfolk debate his origins—some view him as a divine messenger, others as a mere drifter—Sheriff Brody grapples with his own challenges in maintaining order.
