What unites a retired cop, a canine trainer, the leader of a political movement, and anti-government demonstrators? Their paths converge in the streets of Bucharest, 23 years post-Romanian Revolution, as they strive to reclaim their public spaces. Over the course of a year, filmmaker Vlad Petri documents their journeys, capturing the initial spark of the protests and culminating in the Referendum against the President. The film provokes thought on the significance of public spaces, individual empowerment, and the evolving notion of democracy in a society wrestling with its communist legacy and an unpredictable future.
