Plot
Olivia, a Filipina immigrant living in the shadows of New York, grapples with the constant fear of deportation while caring for a Russian-Jewish elderly woman. When her plans for a green card marriage fall apart after her partner backs out, Olivia finds herself drawn to a slaughterhouse worker. Their budding relationship takes a complicated turn, as he remains unaware of her identity as a trans woman. As Olivia navigates love and the precariousness of her situation, she faces the challenges of acceptance and belonging in a world that often overlooks her.
