Plot
Disgraced attorney Lawson Russell relocates to Key West after a scandal derails his career. There, he forms a friendship with the elderly novelist Christopher Marlowe, who shares his latest manuscript with Lawson. Following Marlowe's sudden death from a heart attack, Russell decides to publish the manuscript as his own work, propelling him to unexpected fame as a best-seller. However, his newfound success quickly turns sour when he becomes the main suspect in a shocking series of murders linked to the very manuscript that brought him back into the spotlight.
