Plot

Domingos, an active member of an African liberation movement, faces arrest by the Portuguese secret police amid the violent turmoil in Angola. Meanwhile, his wife embarks on a desperate journey through various prisons, tirelessly searching for information about his whereabouts. Each visit only deepens her anguish as she confronts the harsh realities of oppression and the struggle for freedom, highlighting the personal costs of political turmoil in their homeland. The film poignantly portrays the resilience of love and hope against a backdrop of brutal repression.
