Plot

Popeye eagerly seeks a lifeguard position upon spotting Olive at the pool. However, Bluto, vying for both the job and Olive's affection, enters the fray. Their boss, Wimpy, organizes a skills competition to determine who will be hired. Popeye shows off his abilities impressively, but things take a turn when Bluto showcases his lifesaving techniques on Popeye himself, complicating the contest.
