Plot

Fabrizio stands at the brink of adulthood, grappling with love, loss, and political ideals. Engaged to the charming but conventional Clelia, his world is shaken by the tragic drowning of his friend Agostino, hinting at deeper despair. His aunt Gina, a whirlwind of emotions, becomes his unexpected lover following the funeral, only to leave him reeling when she seeks comfort in a stranger. Their explorations with Cesare, a Marxist mentor, and Puck, a troubled landowner, reveal the stark contrasts in Italy’s evolving landscape, highlighting the uncertainty that looms over their futures.
