Plot
In the year 1798, a wild boy is found wandering near Aveyron, France. Labeled as mentally deficient, he is sent to an asylum. However, a compassionate young doctor named Jean Itard believes the boy possesses normal intelligence, stifled by his isolation from civilization. Determined to nurture his potential, Itard takes the boy into his home, embarking on a challenging journey of education and socialization that unfolds over the following years.
