Wavelength unfolds with minimal action, focusing instead on three distinct "character" vignettes. Initially, a couple enters a room, shares a brief conversation, and listens to “Strawberry Fields Forever” on the radio. Soon after, filmmaker Hollis Frampton's character mysteriously appears and collapses lifelessly on the floor. The final scene features the apartment's owner, who, while on the phone, discusses the unidentified dead man with an unsettling calmness, despite never having encountered him before. This experimental work challenges traditional narrative structures, inviting viewers to ponder the nature of existence and perception.
