"From Ground Zero" is an inspiring collection of 22 short films crafted by talented filmmakers from Gaza. Spearheaded by Rashid Masharawi, a prominent Palestinian director, this initiative arose in the midst of ongoing conflict, aiming to offer young artists a chance to convey their experiences through film. Each piece, lasting between 3 to 7 minutes, provides a distinct viewpoint on life in Gaza. The project highlights the varied realities faced by its people, showcasing their struggles, tragedies, and moments of resilience. Featuring genres like fiction, documentary, docu-fiction, animation, and experimental film, "From Ground Zero" beautifully illustrates the complex emotions of joy, sorrow, and hope in Gazan life.
