Plot
Jaap van Leyden oversees a shipyard in Dutch territory under German occupation. Initially, he chooses to collaborate with the occupiers, believing it's the safest option. However, a poignant children's rhyme stirs his patriotic instincts, prompting him to reconsider his stance. Torn between loyalty to his country and the safety of his family and workers, Jaap grapples with the challenge of subtly undermining the Germans while protecting those he loves from the repercussions of resistance.
