Plot
Robert Cain, Sr., a Wall Street broker, faces imprisonment for embezzlement, prompting his son Bob to take drastic measures to secure his father’s freedom. Desperate for cash, Bob gets involved with mobster Mickey Dwyer, where he quickly becomes entangled in a life of crime. Complications arise as he develops feelings for Dwyer’s girlfriend, Lucky. Ultimately, Bob’s choices lead him down a dark path, culminating in his own incarceration alongside his father, forcing them both to confront the consequences of their actions.
