Clarence, the Cross-Eyed Lion (1965)

Plot

A village faces fear as a lion threatens its peace, prompting a local sergeant to seek assistance from a veterinarian at a nearby animal research facility. Upon investigation, they learn that the lion's cross-eyed condition causes double vision, making it unable to hunt effectively. Rescued and taken to the center, the lion quickly wins the heart of the vet's daughter. Meanwhile, an unscrupulous criminal plots to capture young gorillas for illegal trade, adding urgency to the veterinarian’s mission to protect the animals in their care.
