Plot
On a rural farm in northern Italy, Batistì and his wife make a pivotal decision to enroll their son Minec in school, prioritizing education over his labor in the fields in hopes of escaping their family's poverty. However, when Minec's shoe falls apart during his long trek to school, Batistì faces a difficult choice. To ensure his son's future, he risks the family's stability by purchasing a new clog, highlighting the desperation and sacrifices entwined in their struggle for a better life.
