Plot
Albert and Harold Steptoe, a father-son duo running a rag-and-bone business, navigate life from their junkyard home. Eager to change their fortunes, Harold uses his father's savings to bet on a nearly blind greyhound, but when the dog fails to win, financial troubles mount. Desperate to clear his debts, Harold concocts a scheme to claim his father's life insurance. The catch? Albert must feign his own death. Hilarity ensues as the pair grapple with the consequences of this outrageous plan, testing their bond in the process.
