Time of the Witch (2024)

Plot

In a contemporary small town in Arizona, residents are gripped by fear as they find themselves without gas and their cell phones powerless. Strange sirens pierce the night, fueling their belief that an alien invasion is imminent. The local Priest condemns the townsfolk for abandoning their faith, urging them to "REPENT." Amidst the chaos, a young woman named Sophia starts hearing voices that compel her to rescue the community. Initially hesitant, she eventually embraces her calling and helps Richard, a despondent man on the brink of suicide. However, when she turns him down, he accuses her of manipulation. The townspeople, in turn, blame her for witchcraft and all their misfortunes, believing she has tarnished a good man's reputation.
