Plot

In 1959 France, Colonel Breitner receives a covert assignment to locate the remains of his former aide, Colonel Delignières, who has gone missing in Algeria. With the French army poised to destroy the area, time is of the essence. To aid him in this urgent task, Breitner assembles a group of five outlaws, offering them their freedom should they successfully complete the mission.
