Plot
Buster Crabbe and Johnny Weissmuller clash in the heart of Cajun country, where tensions rise over love and loyalty. Johnny, a Mississippi riverboat pilot, finds himself enchanted by Virginia Grey, a wealthy outsider who has cared for him after a near-fatal accident, much to the dismay of his fiancée, Carol Thurston. Virginia’s ownership of the swamp comes with strict hunting bans, inciting the ire of the resentful trapper, Mike (Crabbe). As Mike blames Johnny for the restrictions, he embarks on a reckless path of revenge, escalating the conflict in the bayou.
