Plot
Pauline, an outcast teen, battles her domineering Christian mother and the challenges of caring for her chronically ill sister, all while harboring dreams of becoming a surgeon. Her world is further complicated by disturbing psychosexual visions that grow more intense as she delves into her dark fantasies. As her mother seeks to bridge the gap between them, Pauline feels pressured to prove herself by trying to heal her sister, leading her down a twisted path where ambition and obsession collide.
