Plot

Set in 1983 in Owl, North Dakota, the lives of three townsfolk intertwine during a monumental blizzard. Horace, an elderly man, finds solace in nostalgic afternoons at the local coffee shop. Meanwhile, teenage Mitch grapples with his feelings of inadequacy as a backup quarterback, struggling with his identity. Newly arrived English teacher Julia is determined to make her mark. As the blizzard engulfs the town, these characters and their neighbors confront the chaos, revealing their vulnerabilities and the bonds that unite them amid the storm.
