Plot

Tension escalates when a man is murdered aboard the Dover/Boulogne ferry, linking him to Jane Kerrell, a young woman targeted for death. As she navigates the French countryside towards the South of France, her life is threatened multiple times by a mysterious assailant. Dismissed as delusional by local authorities, including the skeptical Inspector and the ominous Dr. Forla, Jane struggles to prove her reality. Her luck changes when she teams up with Paul Hedley, a painter who has also faced an assassination attempt. With Scotland Yard’s involvement, a web of international intrigue unfolds along the picturesque Riviera.
