Plot

In the aftermath of World War II, a military tribunal convenes in 1947 to hold four German judges accountable for their roles during the Nazi era, facing serious allegations of crimes against humanity. Chief Justice Haywood presides over the proceedings, listening to testimonies from the main defendant Ernst Janning and his lawyer Hans Rolfe.
