Plot
High school music teacher Beth Landon takes a bold step by inviting the notorious one-hit wonder Jason Keith to headline her town's Strawberry Festival. Her mother, Eileen, and festival co-host Ruth are skeptical of Jason's reputation for cancellations and arrogance. As Strawberry Queen, Beth defends her choice but quickly discovers that Jason is far from easy to work with. Beneath his rock star persona lies a troubled past that jeopardizes his career. With encouragement from Beth and his manager Ray, Jason starts to shed his attitude, leading both of them on a journey toward realizing their musical aspirations.
